Welcome to the Virtual 2012 IEEE Broadcast Symposium!

The October 2012 IEEE Broadcast Symposium is available for on-demand viewing. All the tutorials, technical sessions and special keynotes were recorded and posted in this virtual venue that you can access on your own time and at your own pace.

If you missed the event, this is your second chance to benefit from one of the world’s pre-eminent technical conferences on broadcast technology. If you attended, you can view presentations that you missed in person, or review others to reinforce your knowledge.

It’s not just a webinar – but an engaging and interactive experience that lets you view both the presenter and the presentation; access bios and abstracts; download slides, papers, and other handouts from the event; network on line with the speakers and other attendees; and visit sponsors’ virtual exhibits.

You can view keynote talks at no charge, and purchase access to the entire symposium, or individual tutorials and presentations. These include:

  • Half-day tutorials on “IP in Broadcasting” and “Computer Simulation Tools for Broadcast Engineering”
  • Two dozen technical presentations, tutorials, and panels on:
    • Broadcast Towers and Protecting Your Station In an Era of Broadband Expansion
    • RF Issues and Technology
    • Mobile DTV
    • Audio for Radio and TV
    • Future of Broadcasting
  • Complimentary keynotes by:
    • Kevin Gage, EVP and CTO, National Association of Broadcasters
    • Sam Matheny, VP, Policy & Innovation, Capitol Broadcasting
