Since I had to do a study for a specific CMP consummable, it was a real nightmare to find and collect all articles, writtings and reports on internet that I decided to create a Website dedicated to CMP.

The Goal is to centralized all documents found and gathered on the net so that the website will become a real reference in CMP where all of us, belonging to CMP community, will just have to go in its "Favorites" and go on CMP Consulting to find the precious needed document.

But, before becoming a reference, CMP Consulting needs your help to seek and gather writtings and articles on the net.

It will be the purpose of the group to collect all these articles and writtings found on the Net. The group will work by "Postings" on all CMP specific Inputs.

The First Objective is to discuss and comment articles and writtings that has been found on the Net in order to share our different point of view and break some generally accepted ideas.

The Second Objective is to feed  website CMP Consulting with these articles and writtings and make this Website the reference for CMP.

To archieve these two Objectives I need the help of all experts, IC makers and Suppliers

In advance, Thanks to all of you who will join the group

Alain

Hi, Anyone out there experience micro scratches caused by changing EBR from 2mm to 3mm on incoming thick Cu layer? Could the wider EBR allow for more slurry agglomeration that cause scratches? Ed Read More>>

Dear All, here we are! Unfortunately, after a "fight" with my previous hoster and a Domain transfer required, this one had blocked the transfer. Thus, the transfer was cancelled and a new Domain was opened. Please, change your favorites to: http://www.cmpconsulting.fr Best Regards Your Favorite Webmaster Read More>>

Dear All, CMP Consulting is hosted at Mon Hosteur but the host has been hijacked on the 24th of August and lots of sites were lost as CMP Consulting. Today, CMP Consulting is offline because I'm in dispute with the hoster Mon Hosteur because they never advise that there was an issue and lots of site were offline. A new hoster was found and I'm waiting for the transfer of the domain in order to keep the same name and the same email address. Read More>>

So, please, check if some presentations, papers and Topics can be put online. It's not only my website, but, it's OUR library where we can refere if needed. Read More>>

For silica nano-particles,

For silica nano-particles, typical sizes range from 15 to 50 nm, although people have been using them in the range of 15 to 35 nm.

As for price, it depends mostly on purity levels of the colloidal (or precipitated) solution as well as on solids content. Of course, the smaller the particle, the less the solids content (due to stroonger particle-particle repulsive forces). Ultra pure systems (like those offered by Fuso in Japan) can cost 4 to 10 times more than the less pure ones such as those offered by Clariant and others.

How much typically do

How much typically do nanomaterials cost per KG and what size are the ideal spheres for CMP?
